Automobiles in German Town Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Confirm

Authorities stated they were contacted by a resident who noticed a vehicle in Hanau covered with reddish fluid

Around 50 vehicles have been covered with what appears to be human blood in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Vehicles, walls and mailboxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a statement.

Officers report they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored substance.

The fluid had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they reported.

Officers then found many other smeared cars and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are banned in Germany under legislation banning the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report early analysis show the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its origin; investigators are not yet informed of any injuries in association with the occurrence," they stated.

City officials stated they were trying "to resolve the case" and have asked to the public for details.

A high-ranking political figure stated the incident rendered him stunned and required to be resolved promptly.

"This incident affects the center of Hanau and reopens the wounds of the far-right terrorist attack half a decade ago," he posted on a platform, mentioning the killing of nine people by a assailant targeting individuals of migrant background in five years prior.
