Mohamed Salah Extends Apology to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the group of players following the uproar from his public comments.
The Incident
Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the player.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
He also implied that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “I get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the situation. He feels the Salah's words were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a good place,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and starting to win games.”
