Devoted fans of the actress are urging that a person who breached a barrier and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a promenade surrounded by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though court documents revealed that he was set to be present on the following morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram account includes recordings of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over the Star's Past Trauma

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Some attendees also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some requested social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was approached by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore venue, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-part adaptation of the popular stage musical Wicked, which centers on the surprising bond between two distinct witches.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of last year in the UK, and scored ten Oscar nominations, securing a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
